What makes La La Land the favorite of the 2017 Oscars?
This morning the tape starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling equaled the record of nominations tying with 'Titanic' and 'All About Eve'
The public's bets on La Land as the favorite of the 89th Oscars were confirmed. This morning Damien Chazelle's film, also behind Whiplash, which honors the musicals of the Golden Age in Hollywood, won 14 nominations, a record that had only reached All About Eve (1950) and Titanic (1997). The premonition was clear from the delivery of the Golden Globes, where he raided a statuette in the seven categories in which he competed but, what makes La La Land so critically acclaimed?
