What you did not see at the Latin Grammy 2016

What happens behind the scenes at the Latin Grammy gala is always worth telling. Roselyn Sanchez, host of the awards, hosted People en Español in her dressing room, where she had meditation music to relax before going on stage. The Puerto Rican actress was accompanied by her husband, the American actor Eric Winter, who approved the sensual red dress with which he paraded on the carpet. Sánchez showed his playful side by participating in the challenge of the mannequin in his dressing room with his partner, his makeup artist, his stylist, his publicist and with the producer of the show Cisco Suárez.

Ednita Nazario attended the gala with her daughter Carolina Márquez. In addition to preparing a new album, the winner of the Excellence Award revealed that she is about to publish an autobiography. "I'm going to tell a lot of things," says the Puerto Rican singer. "Especially those behind the scenes, these stories of difficulties and challenges that one finds in life and that has to overcome to get ahead." Márquez, 28, said she was proud of her mother. "I'm super proud of her, she deserves it too much, I love her."

Carlos Vives also spoke to the press after winning the award for Best Song for "La bicicleta", his duet with Shakira. The artist regretted not mentioning Shakira when he received the award. "I did not mention it, I had to list Shakira, the children, even Piqué," said the Colombian singer. "I thank him for falling in love with the song, for wanting to work with me. I always remember him and we are very sorry that he is not with us today," he added, since his compatriot could not travel to Las Vegas to accompany him at the gala because his son Sasha was sick.

Alexander Delgado de Gente de Zona said he was happy with his Latin Grammy for his new album Visualize. "We're going to a disco and they're invited, we're resurrected the day after tomorrow," he joked. "What happens in Las Vegas, stays in Las Vegas," concluded teammate Randy Malcom. Asked about the photo that they posted on their Marc Anthony social networks with Jennifer Lopez last night - and if this was evidence of a possible reconciliation between Puerto Rican singers - Delgado just said: "I can not confirm anything to you." Delgado added that J.Lo had joined the salsero company Magnus, which is also part of People Zone. "I'm not going to tell you that easy, I'm going to collect the news," concluded the Cuban.
