Lionel Messi buys a $ 37 million four-star hotel in Barcelona

The Argentine paid just over $ 37 million for the establishment of four stars.
The hotel will be managed after its purchase by the company Grupo Majestic. Built in 2013, it has 300 square meters in lounges and has 77 rooms, which include a superior suite and five junior suites.
It also has a spa with hydrotherapy circuit, cabins for couples and oxygen treatments, next to a terrace with a rooftop swimming pool and a bar with panoramic views of Sitges beach, according to the Spanish newspaper Expansión.
The owner was the local businessman Francisco Sánchez. The cost of rooms fluctuates between $ 225 and $ 337 per night.


To make the transaction, the player was recently a new company for the investment of hotels and apartments named Rosotel. According to the Spanish Mercantile Register, this is a division of Limecu España 2010, which bears the investments of the Barça player.


Precisely, it will be the Limecu himself, presided over by Messi and run by his brother Rodrigo, responsible for carrying the hotel. This property is added to the Rostower building, which some time ago bought the FC Barcelona striker, also located in this Catalan city.
