They praise a tourist for buying clothes and shoes for a helpless child: "I cried after seeing that child's smile",

A good Samaritan wanted to help a barefoot boy who was selling food outside a mall in Manila

Ahyan Yerro, an employee of a Nike store in Manila, said that the mall where he was finishing his shift was about to close. Suddenly a barefoot boy came in with a man. Yerro recognized the boy, whose name is Warren, because he usually sees him outside the mall selling food, but he did not recognize the man who accompanied him.

"That gentleman, who was evidently a tourist, told the child 'choose the shoes you want'," said the employee of the famous shoe store. "Warren is 14 at most, and I could not believe it; Looked carefully at our assortment and spoke very little. "

After choosing a pair of tennis, Ahyan took the measurements of his foot and looked for the ideal size. The peddler tried on his shoes and his face quickly lit up. "I had a rather long and heavy turn, but I cried after seeing that teenager smile when trying on his shoes," said Ahyan, who asked permission to take some photos of the two men.

Mara Karmela, an employee of the Philippine government, also witnessed the moment and took some photographs: "Many people looked at the poor boy with astonishment when he entered the mall because his clothes were quite dirty." After paying for the merchandise, the tourist, who did not want to give his name, accompanied Warren to other stores to buy clothes, said Yerro.

CBN News found the good Samaritan on Facebook and tried to interview him, but he did not want to get publicity. The tourist thanked Ahyan for publishing the anecdote in his Facebook account: "They taught me your publication and I saw that many people shared it. Thanks for doing it, it was really nice of you. " Although this man, with blond hair and tattoos in his arms, wanted to remain anonymous, he expressed that he would like his charity to encourage other people to do something similar.
