Vice President Mike Pence confuses Israeli flag with Nicaragua

Mike Pence had the best of intentions although a slip left him in evidence.

The vice president of the United States wanted to send a message of support to the Israeli nation on Twitter, and wanted to accompany him with an emblazon of the flag of the country of the Near East.

The problem came when instead of the flag with the star of David, the Nicaraguan rose.

Although the tweet was deleted shortly afterwards many netizens had already made screenshots and shared the error in the networks.

"Our support for the Jewish community does not end at our borders. Under this presidency the world will know that America is with Israel, "wrote Pence.

This little misunderstanding only adds to the long list of reasons why the detractors of the Trump administration are struggling to call for the end of this newly-inaugurated government, which they regard as unprepared.
