The New York Times reprimanded journalist who called Melania Trump "prostitute"

The US newspaper The New York Times reprimanded an unidentified journalist who on Sunday called US First Lady Melania Trump a "prostitute" at a social event.
In a statement to Politico.com, the New York newspaper described the journalist's comment as "completely inappropriate" and made it clear that they did not approve her behavior. "At a party last night, the Times reporter, who did not cover Washington or politics, referred to an unfounded rumor about Melania Trump," the newspaper said. "The comment was not intended to be public, however it was completely inappropriate and is something that should not have happened. The editors have already spoken to the reporter in question about that flaw. "


Emily Ratajkowski, who appears on these lines and a few months ago posed naked to celebrate that she had reached the 10 million fans on Instagram, was the one who denounced the incident. Disgusted by the comments of the reporter she described as sexist, she turned to her Twitter account to make them known. In her tweet, Ratajkowski describes how Sunday was sitting next to a newspaper reporter, who said: "Melania is a prostitute."



The supermodel, who has appeared in magazines like Sports Illustrated, sent several messages on Twitter denouncing that comment to its nearly one million followers. "I do not care about your nudity or your sexual history and nobody should care," says the text of the model. She adds: "Specific gender attacks are sexist and disgusting bullies."
In turn, the First Lady is suing the British newspaper The Daily Mail for publishing a story claiming that in her modeling time, she had worked as a ladies' gentleman. In another legal case on the same subject, Trump came a few days ago to a monetary settlement in the lawsuit he filed for defamation against Webster Griffin Tarpley, a Maryland blogger, who had to retract a story in which he echoed the allegation Of The Daily Mail.
