The day Donald Trump got into the wrestling ring

The magnate is an undisputed showman, so his participation in the XXIII edition of Wrestlemania in 2007 did not go unnoticed

In the November elections he was elected President of the United States by beating Democrat Hillary Clinton. Much has been said about Donald Trump, the billionaire businessman who three weeks ago was elected President of the United States, the controversies and the eccentricism that surrounds him. But one facet of the president-elect has been forgotten: his relationship with the world of wrestling.

The 70-year-old tycoon has always been a very media person and has never been shy in front of the cameras, so it should not be surprising that he participated in the XXIII edition of Wrestlemania in 2007 in a unique duel with Vince McMahon, Owner of the famous wrestling franchise WWE, video that in recent months has become viral.

Donald Trump became the protagonist of the so-called "Battle of the Billionaires" overcoming his opponent in a comic struggle that consisted, at first, of a verbal confrontation, to then move on to the true ring of combat. Obviously, neither of the two opponents could jeopardize their physical integrity, so each one chose the fighter who would represent him. Trump bet on Bobby Lashley, dubbed the 'Black Superman', while McMahon introduced Umaga.

As big lovers of the show, both billionaires put all of themselves to entertain the audience that was delighted and totally into the show. Finally, the wrestler of Donald Trump overcame his opponent, reason why the New York businessman could collect the bet by cutting the hair to Vince McMahon, shaving it to zero more precisely. To end, and to give the finishing touch to this meeting, referee Steve 'Cold' took his particular revenge against Trump by applying the famous 'Stunner' key and leaving the tycoon collapsed on the ground.
