The husband of a top NBC executive charged with the death of his daughter

Authorities in New Rochelle, NY, arrested NBC Universal Inc.'s spokeswoman for the acquisition of talent, Michelle Hord-White, on charges of second-degree murder over the death of her 7-year-old daughter.

According to People, Neil White, 47, was arrested last Tuesday at his residence as the alleged perpetrator of the death of his young daughter Gabrielle, whom police believe would have been suffocated, although the results of the autopsy are missing.

The girl's nanny, Tonelle Mahon, declared that when she arrived at the house to take care of her, she began to notice strange things, like all the curtains were closed. When she called the girl, she did not answer. Who did appear was the father, who informed her that Gabrielle was asleep in her room.
It was then that she saw blood on the father's wrist and immediately left the house to call the police.

When they arrived, the officers found the girl dead and proceeded to arrest the father, who is detained without bail.

So far it has not transcended the supposed motive that would have caused the tragedy. The couple had been in the process of divorce since last April and shared custody of the girl.

New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson told a news conference that it is a particularly painful time for the city. "Our whole community mourns this tragic event and is united to offer their thoughts and prayers to Gabrielle's mother and to all who knew and loved her."
