Jerry Seinfeld has an awkward moment with Kesha
Jerry Seinfeld lived on the red carpet at the National Night of Laughter and Song event held at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.
The comedian gave a placid interview to the American television channel WUSA 9 when the singer approached Kesha asking him a hug.
"I am Kesha, I love you very much. Can I give you a hug? "The singer said as she approached the
actor, who was puzzled.
"No, thank you," Seinfeld replied.
The singer undeterred insisted on a "please", as she approached to hug him.
Seinfeld did not give in either. "No thanks," he reiterated, as the young woman tried with "a small one."
"No, thank you," he said again, to which the artist gave up and ended up withdrawing in dismay.
The humorist, with a nervous smile, asked the reporter who the girl was. When he replied that it was Kesha, it was clear that he did not know her.
"Oh! I wish him well, "the comedian told his interviewer to conclude the subject.
Kesha Rose Secret, the artist's full name, rose to fame in 2009 thanks to a collaboration in the single "Right Round" with Flo Rida. A year later he released his debut album Animal, which achieved sales of more than one million copies and just over eight million downloads.
Seinfeld is an actor, screenwriter and one of the icons of the American comedy, which achieved worldwide fame thanks to the sitcom Seinfeld that was aired on 1988 to 1998 with great success.
