JUST IN: Royal visit to US: The Trump receive King Abdullah and Queen Rania
The President and First Lady were the perfect hosts for the royal couple; Donald Trump will discuss terrorism issues with the King, while Melania and Rania will talk about education.
Since the start of his administration, President Donald Trump has hosted a number of world leaders, such as his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fatah al Sisi, or UK Prime Minister Theresa May. On Wednesday, the President and First Lady welcomed King Abdullah II of Jordan and his wife, Queen Rania. According to the official White House portal, after the conference, leaders gathered at the Oval Office to discuss issues on efforts to combat terrorism as well as the conflict in Syria. After posing for the official photos, the US president offered brief statements: "These are difficult times for the Middle East. And we see with what happened recently, yesterday in Syria. Meanwhile, Melania Trump served as the perfect hostess with Queen Rania. The president's wife offered the Queen a lunch at the official residence and later moved to the EXCEL Academy Public Charter School, along with Secretary of Education, Betsy DeVos. The First Lady, Queen and DeVos had a round table discussion with parents, students and teachers on the educational needs of the children. The ABC news site indicates that they also plan to visit an arts and science class on their agenda.
Both Rania and Melania were fabulous in this first encounter. The Queen opted for a monochromatic look with a black skirt, a matching jacket and a high ponytail. she complemented her outfit with a white scarf and heels of the same color. At all times she brought with her a super chic mini bag. Melania Trump wore a green suit that fits perfectly into her slender silhouette and combined her outfit with a belt and black sneakers.
