'Bella donna'! Sofia Vergara enjoys a few days in Rome,
Bye, bye to Los Angeles! Sofia Vergara took a few days to fly to Rome and enjoy the pleasures of Italian food, its beautiful landscapes and its culture. The actress of Modern Family shared in her Instagram account her culinary adventures in the capital, as well as her encounter with one of her most intimate friends, the entrepreneur and designer Franz Serrano.
The 44-year-old Colombian was picked up by the paparazzi on Saturday morning at the Los Angeles airport ready to take her flight to Italy. Hours later, she updated her Instagram account with a video of the delicious dishes she was delighting after arriving at the 'Old Continent': "This is what happens when you dine in Rome." At the table, there were plenty of pasta dishes and wine glasses.
Vergara also published a couple of photographs with her friend, who appears to be her host during her stay in the European country. As always, Sofia showed off her great sense of humor and published the most amusing and delicious postcard. Although she has one of the most sculptural bodies in the world of entertainment, the actress is a good tooth and by no means deprives herself of one of her favorite foods: pizza. While Sofia enjoys the corners of Rome, her husband, fellow actor Joe Manganiello fulfills her work commitments in Los Angeles. Saturday went to the premiere of the film The Smurfs: The Lost Village.
Sofia Vergara's visit to the Italian capital could also be part of her work schedule, as The Hollywood Reporter announced that the actress will participate in the thriller Bent, alongside actors Karl Urban and Andy Garcia. According to the portal, the film will begin filming in the next few days in Rome, under the direction of Oscar-winning Bobby Moresco.
