JUST IN: Capture heroin and $ 4.1 million traffickers disguised with urine
First, it was the "narcolimones", then criminals dedicated to launching a drug with a giant catapult from Mexico to the other side of the border and now, just discovered a new way in which drug traffickers in the country: disguising it with smell urine.
It was a cargo of 6 pounds of heroin and $ 4.1 million seized in the Bronx which exposed the ingenious methods in which a band of criminals transported the drug between several states of the country.
The arrest of three suspects and the arrest of the drug took place Saturday night after authorities observed the suspects carrying furniture in a U-Haul truck from a warehouse.
The site was the center of a long investigation that took months and after Saturday's operation left Jorge Pizarro, leader of the group, Nelson DeJesús and Miguel Ángeles, in custody of the authorities on charges of criminal possession of controlled substances.
A press release stated that the band was sending the drug to the town of Lawrence, Massachusetts, from New York and then sending the cash profits hidden in the same furniture back to Texas.
