United we can more! Ivanka Trump adds a new 'bff', Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau

The Canadian Prime Minister traveled to Washington DC to meet with President Donald Trump

US President Donald Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met in Washington DC to create a committee that will address the challenges that women face in the workplace. The US president and Trudeau attended a roundtable discussion with female entrepreneurs and listened to their concerns. Among the attendees was Ivanka Trump, who sat next to Trudeau at the table and looked very happy. And who would not be?
During her father's presidential campaign, Ivanka helped promote, among other things, a tax exemption plan to make childcare and childcare more accessible to working mothers. Although she does not yet have a defined position within the administration of her father, the presence of the former model in the White House is more and more constant. Ivanka will play a key role in the relationship between the United States and Canada for the fulfillment of the so-called Bilateral Committee for the Progress of Women Entrepreneurs and Business Leaders.

The First Daughter listened attentively to the points Trudeau had put before the enterprising women in the White House Cabinet Room. Meanwhile, she also contributed to the meeting and said she was happy to be there. "I am honored to be here today to go forward and listen to each and every one of you who have been to me as a great role model as well as to other business leaders from both nations." The cause of working for women is something close to Ivanka, as her first book is entitled Women Who Work. Proudly, Trump told the whole group gathered there, as his daughter has been involved in building the committee working group and appreciated her great help.

After the roundtable and a private lunch, Donald Trump and Justin Trudeau held a press conference. This is the first time they have met since the US president took office on January 20.
