Father and daughter night by Manhattan! Barack and Malia Obama had a fun date on Broadway

Like any father and daughter, Barack Obama and his eldest daughter, Malia, had a very fun night on Broadway. The former president and his daughter went to see Arthur Miller's The Price at American Airlines Theater on Friday night. The stars of the play did not miss the opportunity to take a picture with the former president and his daughter, who were very smiling.

As it passed through New York, Obama was treated like a superstar. As they left a meeting in a building in Flaitron District, hundreds of people were waiting for him and cheering him. The former president was very relaxed with a simple suit and a tie. After that meeting, he met his daughter and after spending a pleasant evening on Broadway, they went to dinner at Emilio's Ballato, an Italian restaurant in Soho.

The play he went to see with his daughter is about a police officer named Victor Franz, who feels that his life has passed before his eyes while he cares for his sick father. Franz and his brother gather all the possessions of their father and decide to sell them. At the end of the play, Barack and his daughter were behind the scenes to photograph themselves with actors Danny DeVito, John Turturo, Mark Ruffalo, Tony Shalhoub and Jessica Hecht.
During his presidency, the Obama were great followers of the works of Broadway, especially with Hamilton. The members of the Obama family attended during their administration to plays such as Memphis, Kinky Boots, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, Sister Act, The Trip to Bountiful, Motown the Musical and The Addams Family.

This is the first time that the former president is allowed to see, after his deserved vacation in the Caribbean. According to the Daily Mail, Michelle Obama did not accompany him on this getaway, as she was photographed in Washington DC on Thursday when she left her soul cycle class. When leaving the presidency, the Obama decided to stay to live in Washington DC so that his smaller daughter, Sasha, finished the school. Meanwhile, Malia is living in New York and doing an internship at Weinstein Company, before entering Harvard in the fall.
